Tomorrow will be my 3rd weigh-in. I’ll be taking my measurements as well this week to track as well.
I helped my mom put up new wallpaper and re-do her kitchen tile this weekend. We started yesterday at about 4:30 yesterday evening, and didn’t finish until 9:30 this morning… non-stop. I’m so tired. I’m finna sleep sooooo well!!

I’m staying motivated with losing this weight, but it seems like my goal is ages away. I wish I hadn’t let myself get so far out of control. Some people are able to think back to a time in their lives when they were at their goal weights. I wore a size 16/18pants and L in shirts- in middle school. I’m anxious to get this weight off so I can live life the way I feel everyone else has been able to live it. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love myself they way I am, but I know i’ll be happier when I get healthier.
Besides my weight goals, I have a few other short term goals. These are SHORT TERM and in no way indicate that i’m done dieting!
1) Someone outside of my family asks “Are you losing weight?”
2) Being able to fit into a size 22 comfortably…
3) Waist measurement down 3in.

It’s been a few days since I’ve got on my Tumblr. I had a very busy weekend. We had a funeral in the family, and my graduation was on Sunday. I did, of course, find time to do my weigh in yesterday. I’m so proud of the 6lbs that i’ve lost this past week. I’ve officially been dieting for 4 weeks now and i’ve lost a total of 13 lbs. That’s not too bad considering the second and third week I did absolutely nothing that I should have (no exercise, no calorie counting). I have definately learned that, at least for me, keeping track of my calories (on caloriecount.about.com) absolutely aids in my journey. Week 2 and 3, I thought I was a pro at counting them, and had absolutely no progress.
Also last week I said I was going to compare the Weight Watchers Points Plus system vs. just counting calories. While I do thing that Weight Watchers will be something I can use in the future to maintain my goal weight, right now, it’s absolutely not for me. Weight watchers allows me to eat 46 points per day. That can possibly equal 2,000 calories depending on the foods I choose to eat. It took me one day to realize that and I was through with it. I know they say losing weight is best done slow… but not that damn slow. They are crazy lol.
The pic above is the side view for this week. I hate looking at it and that’s another reason i’m doing this. Right now i’m a size 26, when I was a size 22, I had no stomach. I guess maybe I did, but my chest was way bigger than my stomach, and I looked proportional. It’s all good though, i’m working on it. Once I get that back to normal, i’ll feel so much better. My stomach will be the first to go.
I want to know how everyone is doing. Ask me something, anything. This is a journey we are all taking together. Reading posts is definately motivating, but it’s even more motivating when the people your taking this journey with are somewhat known on a personal level. I have a little over 100lbs to lose and i’m in it to win it.

So I lost 6 lbs this past week. Very excited and now even more motivated. 13.6 lbs to go til my first goal
